Stamp Duty Holiday Extended
Welcome news as The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak has confirmed the extension of the Stamp Duty Holiday from the end of March in this years Spring budget.
The threshold for Stamp Duty will now remain at £500,000 until June 30th 2021. This means buyers could save up to £15,000!

Operations Director, Gavin Calthrop says ‘It recognises and addresses the enormous worry the cliff edge had for house buyers as the holiday came to an end. But also, importantly how the housebuilding industry will help to fuel the economic recovery post pandemic’. He added ‘We are also pleased to see other initiatives like the mortgage guarantee scheme which could help many first-time buyers to get on the property ladder and the national infrastructure bank to encourage green regeneration projects’.
