End of Year Land Update
We’ve had a busy week at Stonewood, here’s a little round up from our Land Director, James Petherick!
– Exchanging conditional contracts with Progress Land Ltd on a site in Sandford, North Somerset, for c. 50 homes plus community benefits. A great site; we’ll be submitting an outline planning application in January 2022. With thanks to Goughs Solicitors, pad Design Ltd and Avison Young │UK.
– Exchanging on an excellent medium term option in South Gloucestershire for c. 80 homes. This is our second exchanged option this year and we are confident that our high quality design led approach will be a positive consideration when promoting strategic sites through the planning system. With thanks to Goughs and DJP.
– Today submitting a detailed Planning Permission for our lovely site in Norton St Philip (pictured) for 27 homes plus a redeveloped vehicle maintenance garage. This is a complicated site where our consultant team has admirably designed a scheme that deals with site constraints whilst providing a mix of distinctive homes set within fantastic landscaped open space. Huge thanks to the core team; my colleague Lewis Knight, Planning Sphere, pad Design, Greenhalgh Landscape Architecture and Engain. We’re looking forward to progressing positively with planners at Mendip Council.
With more planning applications to be submitted in the new year and further site exchanges imminent, we’re looking forward to a rest over Christmas and hitting the ground running in 2022!
