Out-of-Hours Defect Repairs
Please note that we do not offer an emergency callout service for out-of-hours defect repairs. If you discover an urgent defect outside of our working hours:
(7.30am until 3pm, Monday to Friday)
Please contact an emergency contractor of your choosing.
For certain emergency defects, you may be able to receive a reimbursement from Stonewood Homes.
Please note that Stonewood Homes will only cover repair costs for the issues listed below and the defect repair must be reported to us during the first year after legal completion.
Issues classed as emergencies are:
A water leak that cannot be contained and is entering electrics or causing damage
Loss of water supply to your home
(not caused by a supplier fault)
Complete electrical failure in your home (not caused by a power cut or a tripped circuit)
Overflowing waste water drains
(not caused by improper disposal down WC/sink/drain)
Complete heating/hot water system failure
Faulty lock to a window, door or garage door, resulting in a loss of home security
Please be aware that Stonewood Homes will not cover the costs of an emergency callout if the problem is not listed above.
